Malteser International seeks a Supply Chain Officer to coordinate travel, fleet and driver operations supporting its work in Maiduguri and across Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flight bookings, visa processing and travel support.
- Manage fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, utilization and availability.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections and servicing schedules.
- Coordinate and monitor driver assignments, performance and compliance with safety procedures.
- Manage travel agencies, transport vendors and service providers.
- Maintain travel and fleet records, monitor costs and support improvements in transport and travel management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in travel coordination, fleet management or travel management, including flight bookings, accommodation, travel requests, travel authorization and movement planning.
- Previous experience with an NGO, INGO, UN agency or donor-funded organization is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced written and verbal English proficiency, including business terminology.
- Proven integrity and attention to detail.
