Full-time paediatrician role providing newborn and paediatric care in emergency, outpatient, inpatient and malnutrition services, while supporting clinical quality, training and team management.
Responsibilities
- Provide integrated newborn and paediatric care across emergency, outpatient and inpatient services, including malnutrition cases
- Prescribe treatment and follow MSF protocols, monitor patient progress, and decide on discharge or transfer
- Train and supervise multidisciplinary staff and provide technical input on complicated cases
- Support infection prevention, equipment and medicine oversight, and paediatric clinical data quality
Requirements
- Medical Doctor diploma from a recognized university
- At least three years' experience as a Medical Doctor in a paediatric hospital
- Computer literacy, including Word, Excel and internet use
- Fluent English; Hausa is desirable
