Lead the launch and operation of One Acre Fund’s newest expansion state, including site selection, team-building, and first-season delivery across Credit, Cash Sales, Trees, Extension, and Market Access.
Responsibilities
- Lead community mapping, site selection, and establishment of the operational footprint in the assigned state.
- Recruit, onboard, and prepare the in-state team, and lead the delivery of first-season programme activities and operational targets.
- Develop and coordinate the operational calendar across recruitment, enrollment, training, seedling production, repayment, and aggregation.
- Build community and stakeholder relationships, monitor performance and risks, and recommend corrective actions and readiness for scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Five years of relevant experience, including three years leading field teams or managing multi-workstream operations.
- Ability to plan and deliver complex projects, analyze operational data, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Strong people leadership, stakeholder-management, and communication skills; fluent English required.
- Willingness to work in a rural or remote location within the assigned state, travel extensively, and relocate as needed.
