UNICEF consultancy supporting Sokoto State primary healthcare and health authorities under the EU SARAH grant to strengthen financial management systems.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the IPM Specialist, financial management team, and health programme team.
- Support the Sokoto State Primary Healthcare Development Agency and Sokoto State Ministry of Health under the EU SARAH grant.
- Strengthen financial management systems.
Requirements
- University degree in social sciences, business administration, finance, accounting, audit, or another relevant field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, financial controls, and partnership management.
- Demonstrated experience supporting donor-funded health programmes, preferably EU or similar programmes.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong report-writing and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, donor compliance, grant management, and public financial management systems.
