Christian Aid seeks a specialist for technical leadership and delivery integration across enterprise development, financial inclusion, and market systems in the poultry sector under the SEPTP programme. The role is a 4-year fixed-term, full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and delivery integration for enterprise development, financial inclusion, and market systems work in the poultry sector.
- Facilitate access to affordable finance and insurance and support poultry enterprises to become investment-ready and commercially viable.
- Strengthen market access, aggregation, and offtake arrangements.
- Monitor financing and enterprise performance across bank loans, the SEPTP revolving fund, and insurance mechanisms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in economics, agribusiness, agricultural economics, business administration, finance, development economics, banking, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in market systems, enterprise/business development, financial inclusion, investment facilitation, or private-sector development.
- Experience designing or managing enterprise pathways, market linkages, offtake arrangements, and commercial partnerships.
- Strong commercial and financial analysis skills, including enterprise modelling, unit economics, working-capital analysis, and portfolio projections.
