Full-time M&E role supporting data quality management, including data collection, quality checks, reporting, and capacity-building for LGA and health-facility M&E staff in Kano.
Responsibilities
- Support the M&E Manager with data collection, data-quality checks, and reporting.
- Build the capacity of LGA and health-facility M&E officers in data-quality management.
- Participate in monthly LGA data-validation meetings and conduct routine facility data-quality assessments.
- Support quarterly data-quality assessments across primary and secondary health facilities in the state.
- Review, document, and help resolve health-facility data-quality issues before reporting.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline, with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of M&E systems in Nigeria or comparable country contexts and familiarity with data-validation tools.
- Excellent knowledge of DHIS2 and strong Excel skills plus proficiency in Stata, SPSS, or R.
- Experience managing programme data and understanding health-system data-management challenges.
- Excellent spoken and written English and report-writing skills.
