Ponticelli Nigeria Limited seeks a Lifting Supervisor for Oil & Gas projects in Nigeria to plan, coordinate, and supervise onshore and offshore lifting operations while meeting HSE, project, and international lifting standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate onshore and offshore lifting operations and coordinate with construction, engineering, HSE, project, and contractor teams.
- Develop and review lifting plans and validate lifting procedures and equipment selection.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, Nigerian regulations, and API, ISO, and LOLER standards; perform risk assessments and JSAs.
- Supervise, train, and mentor crane operators, riggers, and banksmen and verify competency and certifications.
- Inspect lifting equipment, keep certification and maintenance records current, and issue related reports.
- Plan and schedule lifting work, resolve technical issues, optimize resources, and provide progress reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lifting Supervisor in Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong background in both onshore and offshore operations.
- Excellent knowledge of heavy and complex lifting operations.
- Strong HSE culture and safety leadership.
- Professional level of English for international projects.
