Full-time onsite Junior Accountant role in Kennedia Consulting's finance team, handling journal entries, account reconciliations, transaction monitoring, reporting support, and HMO-partner discrepancy resolution.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including month-end adjustments.
- Reconcile HMO claims, patient receivables, and corporate accounts.
- Reconcile vendor payables, petty cash, and bank transactions.
- Monitor daily financial transactions and support financial reporting, budgets, and audits.
- Liaise with HMO partners to resolve discrepancies and facilitate timely payments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience with medical billing, HMO claims reconciliation, and payables management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting-software experience, preferably Sage ERP or hospital management systems.
- Strong analytical skills, numerical accuracy, and attention to detail.
