Strivo Labs is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to lead teams, own major technology projects, set technical direction, and deliver scalable, secure, high-performing technology products in Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor engineering teams across projects and product areas.
- Own end-to-end delivery of major engineering projects from planning and architecture through deployment and continuous improvement.
- Define and execute engineering strategy aligned with business and product objectives.
- Provide technical direction, make architecture and technology decisions, and oversee code quality, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Manage engineering priorities, risks, resources, and stakeholder updates while supporting recruitment and talent development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of software engineering or technology experience with significant engineering-leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex technology projects from conception to production.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, and scalability.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum or similar development methodologies.
