Full-time pharmaceutical-manufacturing role operating tablet compression equipment, performing in-process checks, maintaining GMP and documentation standards, and supporting troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor tablet compression machines, including changeovers, tooling installation, and basic adjustments.
- Monitor tablet weight, hardness, thickness, appearance, and document in-process check results.
- Identify and report machine abnormalities, product defects, and process deviations.
- Maintain batch records and equipment logbooks; clean and sanitize equipment and production areas.
- Follow GMP, safety, hygiene, and contamination-control requirements while minimizing downtime and material wastage.
- Work with Production, QA, QC, and Maintenance teams on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience operating tablet compression machines in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GMP and pharmaceutical production procedures.
- Experience with tablet compression equipment and tooling.
- Ability to perform in-process quality checks and comply with batch documentation and SOPs.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machine/process problems and work shifts.
- OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
