Full-time company-driver role delivering goods to customers and distributors in Lagos, checking loads against delivery documents, maintaining the vehicle, and keeping trip and delivery records.
Responsibilities
- Drive the company vehicle safely to deliver goods to customers and distributors.
- Verify loaded goods against delivery documents and deliver them on time and to the correct locations.
- Report delivery issues, delays, damaged goods, complaints, and vehicle faults to the supervisor.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain the vehicle and keep vehicle documents valid.
- Follow traffic rules, company procedures, and road-safety requirements.
- Maintain records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and delivery activities.
Requirements
- Minimum SSCE or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driver's licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Previous company or delivery-driver experience, preferably in FMCG or distribution.
- Good knowledge of Lagos roads and assigned delivery routes.
- Basic record-keeping and communication skills.
- Basic vehicle-maintenance and safety-check knowledge.
