Full-time interpreter role at BBA Motors Limited in Bariga, Lagos, providing Mandarin-English interpretation, business-document translation, and bilingual administrative and operational support.
Responsibilities
- Interpret between Mandarin Chinese and English during meetings, business discussions, interviews, operations, and official engagements.
- Translate correspondence, business documents, reports, presentations, emails, and other materials.
- Facilitate communication among Chinese-speaking executives and English-speaking employees, customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Support bilingual administrative operations, meeting coordination, note-taking, documentation, and follow-up.
- Maintain records and provide accurate, professional, culturally sensitive, confidential interpretation support.
Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English proficiency.
- Professional oral interpretation ability for conversations, meetings, and business discussions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and relevant office software.
- Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, organisational, documentation, discretion, and confidentiality skills.
- Ability to translate business documents accurately while preserving meaning and context.
