Full-time pharmaceutical manufacturing role operating, setting up, monitoring, troubleshooting, and cleaning blister-packing equipment while following GMP, SOPs, in-process quality checks, and batch documentation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor blister-packing machines, including feeding, forming, filling, sealing, coding, and cutting.
- Set up machines, perform changeovers and adjustments, and carry out basic troubleshooting.
- Conduct in-process checks for pack appearance, seal integrity, print quality, batch/expiry coding, and tablet or capsule placement.
- Complete batch documentation and machine logs, follow GMP/SOP/safety and hygiene procedures, and report faults or deviations.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance while minimizing waste and downtime.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience operating blister-packing machines in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging processes and GMP requirements.
- Practical experience with machine setup, changeover, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and follow SOPs, batch packaging records, and work instructions.
- Technical, mechanical, pharmaceutical, or related qualification is an advantage.
